Affenpinscher Description:The Affenpinscher (Affen) is a balanced small dog with characteristics of a terrier. It has a thick and wiry coat, longer hair on its face and the undercoat is slightly curly. It has a square body, an undershot jaw, a short nose and prominent rounded black eyes. |
Affenpinscher Care & Grooming:The harsh and wiry coat of Affenpinscher needs brushing frequently. The hairs around its eyes, ears and feet should be trimmed regularly to keep him feel and look good. This active dog gets all its exercise done just by playing indoors. Occasional walk is sufficient to keep him healthy both physically and mentally. |
Affenpinscher Health Problems:Affenpinscher is one of the healthiest breeds with no known serious genetic problems. It is prone to hip dysplasia, collapsed trachea and respiratory problems in hot weather. |
